- Must be new work, made by the exhibitor, not previously exhibited at Lansdowne Fair.
- Articles must be clean. Soiled entries will not be judged.

Senior Citizen’s Section

Open to seniors 60 years of age and over.
RULES:
- You must have an exhibitor’s number and an entry form must be submitted.
- Photographs must be mounted on a piece of Bristol board with a border not to exceed 1".

Quilting
RULES:
All quilted articles/quilts must be constructed and quilted by the exhibitor. Any technique is acceptable (e.g. appliquéd, pieced, yo-yo).

ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURAL SOCIETIES QUILT COMPETITION
PRIZES: $25 - $20 - $17
Annual Hand Quilted Championship Quilt & Annual Machine-Quilted Quilt/Wall Hanging Competitions
RULES:
Hand-Quilted Quilts:
- Must be a minimum of 324" measured on the perimeter.
- Pattern must be named.
Machined-Quilted Quilt/Wall Hanging:
- Must be measured on the perimeter - minimum of 192".
- The article can be square, rectangular, etc.
- Must have visible machine quilting.
- Entries must be solely made and quilted by the exhibitor.
- Judging will occur at local fairs and district levels.
- Provincial Grand Champion Quilts in each division will be selected at the Annual Convention of O.A.A.S.
- Upon making an entry into the O.A.A.S. Competition, the exhibitor agrees to participate in any promotional
activities related to the competition.
- The winning O.A.A.S. Champion Quilts will not be eligible to compete in any future District and/or
Convention O.A.A.S. competition.
If your quilt has won first place in a competition at another fair, you must consider the Agricultural Society
nearest your home address as the one from which the quilt will be sent to district level
QUILTING NOTE: Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion will be awarded to both the 1st and 2nd
winners in classes 103 and 104.
