RULES:
- Must be constructed and quilted by the exhibitor.
- Hand quilted quilts in classes 6, 7 & 8 must have the pattern named on the Entry Tag.
- All machine quilted quilts must have visible machine stitching.
- Must attach (SMA) material sample(s) to the Entry Tag!
- When minimum size is given, quilts may be larger.
- All quilts in classes 6 - 8, 11 - 13 and 16 -18 are automatically entered in the O.A.A.S. competitions if
they measure a minimum of 324” on the perimeter.

ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURAL SOCIETIES QUILT COMPETITIONS
PRIZES:
District II: 1st - $25 2nd - $15 3rd - $10
O.A.A.S. Convention: 1st - $500 2nd - $100

RULES:
- Entries must be solely made and quilted by the exhibitor and exhibited and judged at a local O.A.A.S. fair to be eligible for this competition.
- Both Hand Quilted Quilts and Machine Quilted Quilts must be a minimum of 324" measured on the perimeter (smaller quilts will not be eligible to proceed to the next level of competition).
- For the Hand Quilted Quilt, the winner’s name and pattern to be displayed at the Fair on the sign provided by O.A.A.S.
- For the Machine Quilted Quilt, the winner’s name to be displayed at the Fair on the sign provided by O.A.A.S.
- Judging will occur at local fairs and district levels. A Provincial Grand Champion Quilt will be selected at the Annual O.A.A.S. Convention.
- Upon making an entry into the O.A.A.S. Quilt Competition, the Exhibitor agrees to participate in any
promotional activities related to the competition.
- The winning O.A.A.S. Champion Quilts will not be eligible to compete in any future District and/or
Convention O.A.A.S. competition.
NOTE: If an Exhibitor wins Grand Champion of ALL ELIGIBLE quilts at other than his/her own fair, the
Exhibitor must consider the Agricultural Society nearest his/her home address as the one from which the quilt will be sent to the District meeting.

O.A.A.S. Hand Quilted Quilt "Grand Champion" and "Reserve Grand Champion" Hand Quilted Quilts, that are at least 324" measured on the perimeter, will be selected from classes 6 - 8.

O.A.A.S. Machine Quilted Quilt "Grand Champion" and "Reserve Grand Champion" Machine Quilted Quilts, that are at least 324" measured on the perimeter, will be selected from classes 11 - 13 and 16 - 18.

The Grand Champion quilts are entitled to go to the Fall District II Annual Meeting Competition in Oct.

LAS Meetings

The Lansdowne Agricultural Society meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm; unless otherwise advertised.

The Junior Fairboard meets the last Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
